Business Apps Analyst

Knows and uses well the fundamental concepts, practices, and
procedures of:

Applies intermediate skill in procedures, techniques, and tools

• Facilitating meetings.
• Reviewing and preparing documentation content.
• Performing GAP analysis.
• Coordinating activities across multiple entities to resolve
defects
• Preparing reports.
• Analyzing information/data and/or processes.
• Managing assigned project components.
• Organizing information and assembling in a useable fashion.
• Developing and analyzing test plans and results.
• Maintaining software version control.
• Auditing software systems.
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
• Documents requirements to small system or process changes.
• Coordinates and assists in business meeting facilitation.
• May have responsibility for a portion of a project or process maintenance phase.
• Research problem areas as defined by business managers including analyzing currently used metrics and documents.
• Prepare first draft of business process documentation including business
requirement document.
• Create / document change requests to respective IT department(s)
• Supports change readiness initiatives as needed

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Distribution, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years experience documenting business processes or analyzing system
or business processes.
Experience in Distribution a plus
Experience with WMS, Supply Chain Execution and Transportation systems, including export compliance a plus.
